City of St. Petersburg's wage theft program seeks pro bono mediators and attorneys.

The City of St. Petersburg's wage theft program, created by the recent passage of the City's Wage Theft Ordinance, is responsible for investigating complaints of "wage theft" and assisting St. Petersburg employees whose employers failed to pay them their owed wages.

Beginning in September, the wage theft program will begin processing complaints, holding mediations, and conducting hearings.

The program is in need of:

* Mediators with a valid Florida Supreme Court Certified Mediator Certification or Florida Circuit Civil Mediator Certificate; and
