Sasnett-Stauffer to lead National Association of Women Lawyers.

Gail Sasnett-Stauffer was made president-elect of the National Association of Women Lawyers at the recent ABA Conference in Atlanta.

Sasnett- Stauffer is an attorney and the associate dean of students at the University of Florida College of Law in Gainesville. Her relationship with the organization began as a student when she received NAWL's 1989 Outstanding Law Student Award for Stetson University in St. Petersburg.

Elected to the executive board of NAWL in 1995, Sasnett-Stauffer revitalized its mentor program when she served as the chair of the Young Lawyers Committee, while simultaneously serving on the Program Committee. She has also chaired the special Internet and World Wide Web Committee and served as NAWL's liaison to the American Bar Association's Section on Legal Education and Admissions to the Bar.

She is a member of The Florida Bar, the Florida Association for Women Lawyers, the American Bar Association, and is vice president of Gainesville Kiwanis.
