Bar examiners need a public member.

Members of the public are invited to volunteer for two three-year terms on the Florida Board of Board Examiners.

The Supreme Court of Florida will appoint two public members.

A public member volunteer should possess education or work-related experience, such as educational testing, accounting, statistical analysis, medicine, psychology, or related sciences. A bachelor's degree is required. Lawyers are not eligible. Public members should be willing to devote about three days of work a month. Service requires travel to various Florida locations to attend meetings and the examination, with travel and subsistence expenses reimbursed.
