BOA Settlement.

The recent article in the News regarding the Bank of America Settlement and the $23 million windfall for The Florida Bar Foundation was disturbing to me.

I know several good families whose homes were wrongfully foreclosed by BOA and its foreclosure-mill attorneys, along with the full complicity of the judges hearing the matters. So many families suffered unnecessary and unlawful foreclosure in Florida, and once the matter got into the hands of the legal foreclosure mills, there was no incentive to stop and do the right thing. The courts, in many cases, were nothing more than co-conspirators in these unlawful actions. The foreclosures went forward even though much of the evidence was either faulty or just fraudulent.
