Civil law notaries.
In reading the October 1 News, regarding the article "Many lawyers are still holding themselves out as civil law notaries," it seems to me that there is a simple solution.
Specifically, since only 5.5 percent percent of those attorneys listed could legitimately be holding out as "civil law notaries," why doesn't The Florida Bar simply delete everyone's civil law notary listing on its website, thereby (in essence) requiring the 127 true civil law notaries/lawyers to simply...
