Corel releases WordPerfect Law Office 2000.

Corel has released its latest legal-specialized version of WordPerfect. This product is directed to small and medium size law firms. It shares files with clients using Microsoft Office 97, so there is no need to be concerned if your client is a Microsoft user. You can save in either WordPerfect or Word. You can read in Word or WordPerfect. The real benefit to this package is that it is the only word processing/file management product directed specifically to the law office. It includes several legal-specific features as follows:

HotDocs 5.1, which is the leading document template software. HotDocs prepares customized documents which can be used repetitively. You create your own documents with fill-in blanks. Documents such as deposition notices, leases, pattern interrogatories and the like are instantaneously reusable by simply typing in the name and other blank data. The document will then automatically be assembled, coding the name and information in where appropriate. This saves an enormous amount of time. It also avoids document error.
