Dell, Lenovo, and PracticePanther added to Member Benefits lineup.

Discounts for computers needed by law offices and the software to make them run are among the latest products added to the Bar's Member Benefits Program.

Board of Governors member Paul SanGiovanni, liaison to the Member Benefits Committee, presented the committee's latest additions to the program at the board's recent Key West meeting.

Dell, a computer manufacturer, will offer Bar members discounts up to 30 percent on personal computers and 5 percent on other electronics and accessories. There are also free shipping, presale events, members-only offers, and multiple payment options, including financing from Dell. On the support side, Dell will have dedicated account managers for Bar members and a special sales team.

Lenovo, another computer manufacturer, will have its products offered through Meridian One, which oversees the UPS and Office Depot programs for the Bar's Member Benefits program. The program will offer up to 30 percent discounts from online prices for the entire line of Lenovo products.

To help make all that computer hardware run, the Bar will add to its software lineup the PracticePanther cloud-based law practice management program. The Florida Bar already offers discounted cloud-based law practice member benefits with Rocket Matter, Clio, MyCase, and CosmoLex. The addition of PracticePanther rounds out that category.
