Five more lawyers join the legislature.

With final election results in, it appears there are five more lawyers in the Florida Legislature for the 2000-02 session than for the 1998-2000 session.

Overall there are 44 Florida Bar members in the legislature, compared to 39 for the previous biennium. All five of the new seats came in the House where there are 31 lawyers. The number in the Senate remained at 13.
