Focus on Competence.

I agree with Ernest J. Mullins' letter in the January 15 News that The Florida Bar needs to prioritize its focus on the lack of competence in the legal profession.

I am continually shocked by the blatant legal (mal)practices I see. In addition to the examples Mullins cited, I also see a proliferation of sloppy and incorrect pleadings and orders. That the orders end up handed to a judge, signed, and filed into the case is appalling.
