FSU Justices.

In the June 15 News, Ricky Polston is described as "proud to be the first Florida State University alumnus to serve as chief justice of the Florida Supreme Court."

While Justice Polston may be the first graduate of FSU's law school to hold the position of chief justice, he is surely not "the first Florida State University alumnus" to do so.

Alan C. Sundberg served as chief justice from 1980 to 1982. He graduated from Florida State University in 1955 with a bachelor's degree...
