Improvements needed.

Bravo to the seven attorneys featured in the August 15 News who helped Geraldine Scott adopt the little boy, James, who was taken away by the Department of Children and Families because she was poor.

If those attorneys who helped did nothing else in their lives, they probably did more than most of us do in our lifetimes.

However, what kind of society do we live in where it takes seven attorneys, two years, and hundreds of hours to place a child with a person he loves and who loves him? Hopefully...
