HOWARD COKER kisses Albert the pig at a recent Jacksonville Suns game as part of the nonprofit adult literacy agency, Learn to Read, Inc.'s "Kiss the Pig for Literacy Campaign." Coker, a former Bar president, was recognized for raising more than $20,000 for the program. His closest contender was fellow attorney Moses Meide, Jr., who raised over $18,000. In all, more than $68,000 was raised for the literacy program, the second highest record for this 14-year annual event. Coker and his family are passionate advocates for literacy.
