Nine board races set.

Nine contested Board of Governors races involving 22 candidates will be on the Bar's March Board of Governors election ballot. Fifteen seats, all but two held by incumbents, were settled without a contested race when the December 15 filing deadline expired.

The contested races are:

* First Circuit, Charles F. Beall, Jr., Jeremy C. Branning, and Joseph Passeretti, all of Pensacola, filed to replace retiring board member Stephen Echsner.

* Third Circuit, Andrew J. Decker IV is challenging incumbent board member Bruce W Robinson. Both are from Lake City.

* Fourth Circuit, Seat 1, Wiley Braxton Gillam IV and Michael Fox Orr, both of Jacksonville, have filed to replace retiring board member Fred D. Franklin, Jr.

* 11th Circuit, Seat 3, Maria T. Armas of Miami, Jordan Dresnick of Miami, Alexandra Bach Lagos of Miami, and Patrick Montoya of Coral Gables have filed to replace retiring board member Leslie Lott.

* 11th Circuit, Seat 5, Judson Lee Cohen of Miami Lakes and Jeffrey Rynor of Miami Beach filed to replace retiring board member Dennis Kainen.

* 13th Circuit, Seat 4, Jeffrey Carter Andersen and Paige A. Greenlee, both of Tampa, filed to replace retiring board member Michael Hooker.

* 15th Circuit, Seat 1, Rosalyn Sia Baker-Barnes and Michael J. Gelfand, both of West Palm Beach, filed to replace retiring board member Adam Rabin.

* 17th Circuit, Seat 4, Hilary Creary of Plantation and Jon Polenberg of Ft. Lauderdale filed to replace retiring board member Jay Cohen.

* 18th Circuit, Damon Chase of Lake Mary, Peter J. Sweeney of Palm Bay, and James G. Vickaryous of Lake Mary filed to replace retiring board member John Alpizar.
