Ninth Circuit JNC to fill two judgeships.

The Ninth Circuit Judicial Nominating Commission is now accepting applications to fill a circuit vacancy resulting from the resignation of Judge Robert M. Evans and an Orange County vacancy resulting from the elevation of Judge A. James Craner to the circuit bench.

Applicants must have been members of The Florida Bar for the preceding five years and must be registered voters. The person appointed to the circuit court must be a resident of either Orange or Osceola county at the time he or she assumes office. The person appointed to the Orange County court must be a resident of Orange County at the time he or she assumes office.
