Two elected, three board runoffs set.

There will be three runoffs for Bar Board of Governors seats following March balloting, while two other races were settled.

Two of the three runoffs are in the 11th Circuit, while the third is in the 17th Circuit.

In the two board races decided in the March balloting:

* In the Second Circuit, Seat 2, Melissa VanSickle edged Mary Ellen Clark 650 to 630 votes.

* In the 11th Circuit, Seat 5, incumbent board member Dennis G. Kainen defeated Ricky Patel 2,186 to 1,281.

According to results released March 22, in the 11th Circuit, Seat 4, race for the unexpired term of President-elect Designate Michael Higer, Deborah Baker-Egozi, who received 1,619 votes, will face Jason M. Murray, who received 1,166 votes. They bested Michael A. Dribin who got 874 votes.

In 11th Circuit, Seat 7, incumbent board member John H. (Jack) Hickey, who received 1,682 votes, will face Nikki Lewis Simon, who received 1,417 votes...
